The South Sudanese music scene is on fire, A heated rivalry between Silver X, the Australia-based music icon, and Juba based star DJ Cent Mr. No Rest has taken center stage, capturing the attention of fans across the globe.
It all started when DJ Cent took to social media with bold claims, boasting that he’s now “bigger than the legend Silver X.” The post didn’t sit well with Silver X and he wasted no time responding.
In what fans are calling an emotional clapback, Silver X dropped a brand-new track titled “Kelib Dusu Kara,” The song is a clear response to what he calls “ungrateful noise” a direct address to a struggling artist who has repeatedly used the Silver X brand to stay afloat in a competitive industry.
Without needing to drop names, the message hits hard, this is a call-out to someone who was once elevated by Silver X’s support, only to turn around and discredit him while riding his coattails.
The hit believed to be a direct diss aimed at DJ Cent. The song is already making waves online, sparking debates and dividing fans between the two stars.
“‘Kelib Dusu Kara’ is NOT a beef song it’s a lesson to be learned,” Mr. X stated.
The real diss, according to Silver X, will be out soon titled “JENA_HARAMI_TURUJU_MIN_YAMBIO”—an Arabic phrase that roughly translates to “the bastard child has been chased from Yambio.” Ouch. That line hits hard, especially since Yambio is DJ Cent’s hometown.
Meanwhile, “Kelib Dusu Kara,” which translates to “a dog has stepped on feces,” is symbolic, with Silver X using metaphor to reflect on messy behavior and consequences pointed, yes, but with a broader message.
What began as online shade has now escalated into a full-blown musical showdown. Will DJ Cent respond with his own track? Or will Silver X’s lyrical fire be the last word? Stay tuned—this is one beef you don’t want to miss.
