
The 20th Ordinary Meeting of South Sudan’s National Examination Council (NEC) began today in Juba, focusing on a crucial agenda: approving the results of the Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) examinations.
This pivotal session brought together senior officials from the Ministry of General Education and Instruction and representatives of state education ministries.
The NEC is expected to officially endorse the CPE results during the meeting, enabling thousands of primary school candidates nationwide to access their academic outcomes.

This year’s CPE examinations were conducted under strict supervision, with the Ministry underscoring its dedication to maintaining transparency and integrity in the examination process.

According to the Ministry of General Education and Instruction, 78,859 students were registered for the 2024-2025 CPE exams, including 43,188 boys and 35,671 girls.
The public release of these results is anticipated shortly after the NEC grants formal approval.
