Juba County Commissioner Moulana Kalisto Lado Foustino Nyigilo has returned to the streets as he continues his hands on field work, inspecting ongoing cleanup and urban improvement activities across the county.
On Monday evening, Kalisto was in Kuburi Haboba, where he met traders, business operators, residents and road users while personally monitoring efforts to improve the appearance and organization of the busy commercial area.
The Commissioner remained on the ground into the night, checking the progress of the work and engaging with members of the public as county authorities push to make Kuburi Haboba cleaner, more orderly and more presentable.
Kalisto directed shop owners and business operators to improve structures built with zinc sheets and other substandard materials, calling for appropriate cladding and modern finishing.
“Within one week, I want Kuburi Haboba Street to become one of the leading and most presentable avenues in Juba County,” the Commissioner said.
He also urged traders, residents and other road users to cooperate with county authorities, stressing that improving the area requires the participation of the people operating and living along the street.
The evening inspection is part of Kalisto’s continued field engagement as the county administration steps up efforts to improve cleanliness, order and the general appearance of commercial areas in Juba.
The Commissioner’s presence on the streets comes as the county continues its push for a cleaner and more organized urban environment, with Kuburi Haboba among the areas targeted for improvement.
