A 26-year-old woman from Marsabit County in northern Kenya has given birth to rare quintuplets after years of struggling to conceive, in a story that has captured the hearts of many across the country.
Nchauni Lemoitanit, from Arge Village in Loyangalani Sub-County, delivered five healthy babies three boys and two girls in what is considered an extremely uncommon multiple birth.
Speaking after the delivery, the new mother said she had spent years praying for a child and never imagined she would be blessed with five at once.
“I had been praying for even one child. God has blessed me with five,” she said.
The remarkable birth has quickly gone viral on social media, where thousands of Kenyans have congratulated the family and described the arrival of the quintuplets as a miracle.
