South Sudan is celebrating a remarkable achievement in its education sector as the Ministry of General Education and Instruction officially released the results of the 2025 Primary School Examinations.

Announcing the results, Dr. Kuyok Abol Kuyok, the Minister of General Education and Instruction, revealed that the national pass rate stood at an impressive 96.4 percent.

Out of 85,511 students registered for the exams, 84,506 candidates sat for the tests conducted between November 24 and 28, 2025, in 1,925 schools organized into 551 examination centers nationwide.

We celebrate their achievement and encourage continued focus on subjects like English and Mathematics to further strengthen learning outcomes.”

South Sudan National Examinations Council also expressed gratitude to all stakeholders involved in the exams, acknowledging their contribution to the timely processing and release of results.

As the country celebrates this achievement, the Ministry emphasized the importance of ensuring smooth transitions for students into secondary education and called for sustained reforms to improve teaching standards, school infrastructure, and nationwide access to quality education.
