The National Communication Authority (NCA) and the South Sudan Revenue Authority (SSRA) have entered into a strategic partnership with N-Soft, a global leader in digital revenue assurance solutions, to enhance transparency and maximize revenue collection in the country’s telecom sector.
The agreement, signed on Wednesday, brings together the NCA Director General, Gieth Kon Mathiang, SSRA Commissioner General, Simon Akuei Deng, and Mr. David Meseguer, Vice President of Sales at N-Soft.
The newly signed partnership aims to deploy a robust digital assurance platform that will provide real-time visibility into telecom revenue operations, strengthen compliance, and reinforce transparency and accountability within the sector.
“This collaboration marks a new chapter in the digital transformation of South Sudan’s public finance ecosystem,” officials said during the signing ceremony.
According to the NCA, the initiative reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to technology-driven reforms that ensure efficient, transparent, and sustainable revenue management across key economic sectors.
The digital assurance system will enable authorities to accurately monitor telecom operators’ transactions, minimize revenue leakages, and improve the government’s capacity for data-driven policy decisions.
“This partnership underscores NCA’s commitment to building a transparent, accountable, and technology-enabled financial ecosystem that supports sustainable growth and improved service delivery,” said NCA Director General Gieth Kon Mathiang.
The partnership is expected to position South Sudan among the emerging African nations leveraging technology to secure national revenues and promote digital governance.
