
President Salva Kiir Mayardit has officially launched South Sudan’s newly enhanced presidential website aimed at strengthening communication and improving public access to official government information.
According to information shared by the Presidency, the platform will provide timely updates on government activities, national policies, presidential engagements, speeches, announcements, and other official communications from the Office of the President.
Speaking during the launch, President Kiir described the website as an important step toward promoting transparency, accountability, and public awareness.
He said modern communication tools are essential in keeping citizens informed and helping address misinformation through credible and official updates from the government.
The Presidency also announced plans to establish an Official Government Gazette that will publish laws, regulations, and official notices to improve public access to key state documents and information.
Officials involved in developing the platform thanked President Kiir for entrusting them with the initiative, describing it as part of the government’s broader efforts to modernise public communication and improve service delivery.
They said the website will continue to serve citizens both inside South Sudan and abroad by providing reliable and accessible information directly from the Presidency.
Officials further described the launch as a significant step in strengthening engagement between the presidency and the public through digital communication.
